And how about the gadgets they use? They’re so high-tech, it’s almost laughable. We’ve got glasses that can scan a room, a pen that's a bomb, and don’t get me started on the face-masking technology. It's like a spy’s Halloween every day. You never know who's under that mask. Could be your best friend, could be your worst enemy, could be your Aunt Mildred.
Then there's the iconic scene where Cruise is dangling from the ceiling, trying not to touch the floor. It's like the world's most stressful game of 'The Floor is Lava'. And the sweat drop? Really, the fate of the world rests on a bead of sweat. I’ve seen less drama in a soap opera.
To top it all off, the movie ends with Cruise on a train, then a helicopter, then a train again. What’s the matter, Tom? Didn’t get enough of a cardio workout with all that running? Now he’s got to outrun a helicopter too.
So, in conclusion, "Mission: Impossible" is exactly what it says on the tin - a mission that should be impossible, but somehow isn't, thanks to a super-fit Tom Cruise, a list that needs better protection, and gadgets that would make even James Bond roll his eyes.
